CK Wong is the founder and director of Malaysia Learners Consultancy since 2010 (rebranded to CK Mandarin Consultancy in 2015). She strongly believes in customizing the learning experience to address different needs. She is well known for her dynamic, interactive, rewarding and tailored made teaching approach.
She is certified by the “Train the Trainer” programme (2012) offered by the Human Resources Development Fund under the Department of Human Resource of Malaysia. She obtained her certification for “Training Need Analysis” in 2009.
Throughout her career, she handled more than 200 corporate training programmes in Mandarin, serving industry leaders such as Malaysia Royal Navy (TLDM), PetronasLnG, Shell Malaysia, Tourism Malaysia, Maxis Berhad, Edaran Tan Chong Motor (Nissan & Renault), Affin Investment Bank, Expedia, Sunway Resort Hotel and Spa, Avani Sepang Goldcoast Resort, Swiss Garden Hotel, Telekom Malaysia, Forest’Secret, Daewoo International and many more.
Due to the tremendous positive reception of her training programmes, CK Wong has been featured in newspapers such as the Star (2014) and Sin Chew Daily (2014). She also has a presence in broadcasting as an SPM Top Tutor for Mandarin on the ASTRO Tutor TV (Channel 603). She hosted the 30-min-long programme, which was aired twice a week from 2012 till 2017
CK Wong graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chinese studies (minoring in East Asian studies) from University of Malaya in 2007. Currently, she is pursuing her Masters degree in Linguistic from University of Malaya, expecting to graduate in 2019. She is a part-time lecturer in the Multimedia University, University Technology Mara and Islamic Science University Malaysia, teaching non-native speakers basic conversational and written Mandarin.
CK Wong was selected by the Chinese government to represent Malaysia in the “Training Program for Teachers of Chinese as a Foreign Language 2011” hosted by Peking University and the Confucius Institute in Beijing, China.
She is no doubt a competence and versatile Mandarin trainer who can handle students from various background and age group well.
